Education In Motion: AI In The Early Years
Today I was afforded the chance to present on A.I. in early years. Not once, but three times. In such an exciting and emerging time, being able to connect with a network of schools that are passionate about engaging with A.I. was powerful. Firstly, we are all in the same boat in terms of finding our way with it. The discussion today opened up a chance for us all to admit we are mostly letting A.I. take on the day-to-day tasks such as reporting, drafting comments, and even emails to parents.
Ultimately, there was excitement as we talked about the different ways we can get A.I. to work collaboratively and creatively as a tool in class. I was very happy to talk about the ramifications of A.I. and how we can help students understand what that might look like. When we want our students to survive in a hashtag#worldwise world, we need to start preparing them to be critical thinkers now.
Thank you to everyone who attended!
